Biography :
Khalid bin walid (RA) , famously known as Saifullah or The Sowrd of Allah, was one of the most remarkable military commanders in islamic history.
Born around 592 CE in the quraysh tribe of mecca he belonged to the influential makhzum clanInitially, he was a firece opponent of islam and even fought against the Muslims at the battle of uhud. however, after recognize the truth of islam, Khalid accepted the faith shortly before the treaty hudaybiyyah. Once he embarced islam, he quickly becam a key figure in the muslim army, praised for his sharp military steategis and leadership. He led muslim to victory in serveal critical battle, including Mu tah, yarmouk and the conqouest of mecca. His record was unmacted- he never lost a battle
Khalid bin Walid’s contributions to the spread of Islam were immense. Despite his military fame, he remained humble, devout, and obedient to the leaders of the Muslim ummah. He passed away in 642 CE in Homs, Syria—not on the battlefield, but on a bed, which he regretted, saying: “I die as a camel dies. May the eyes of cowards never sleep.”
